Life Skills Coaching – Information for Parents

Life Coaching

If you’re the parent of a young person and want to find out abut my life skills coaching, welcome and please read on!

What Is Life Coaching?

Life coaching helps with learning skills and techniques to develop as a person and my life skills coaching focuses on activities such as communication, self-management, problem-solving, balancing emotions and healthy living which are necessary to be successful as an independent adult.

If you are concerned that the young adult in your life is struggling in any of these areas or you are worried about how they will cope with the stresses of making their way in the adult world then life skills coaching with me can help.

My coaching starts with the young person’s strengths and supports them to develop the life skills that are important as they navigate the adult world – getting on with other people, being self-assured, dealing with difficult situations and maintaining their wellbeing.

How Does Life Coaching Help?

Life coaching can help young people to:

  • – Boost confidence and self-esteem
  • – Manage anxiety and stress
  • – Build positive relationships with others
  • – Develop life skills and learn coping techniques to manage difficult situations
  • – Increase self-awareness
  • – Feel good about themselves

Working with me will help your young adults too develop the skills and confidence they need to tackle the challenges of life as a young adult today and to achieve their goals.

What happens in a Life Coaching Session?

I will listen and will ask your young adult questions which help them to work things out and decide what they want to do next. I might suggest useful techniques or activities for them to try in between sessions.
